Former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty in federal court in Miami on Tuesday to 37 felony counts relating to the improper retention of classified documents. Stephanie Grisham, former White House press secretary, said that none of the facts in the indictment surprised her. Trump claimed that presidents have an “absolute right” to keep any and all documents they want, and is restricted from discussing the case with possible witnesses or his co-defendant.
