Portuguese police, aided by German and British officers, resumed their search for Madeleine McCann on Tuesday, 16 years after her disappearance in Portugal's Algarve region. More than a dozen cars and police vans arrived in the area, and a blue base tent was set up. About 20 to 30 officers, some in uniform, were seen in the area by the Arade dam, using rakes and hoe-like tools to poke and rake the soil. A search dingy was also seen navigating in the Arade dam.
