On Monday, a Fairfax County police officer had a close call when an out-of-control car sped towards him at over 120 mph. The officer was able to jump out of the way and only suffered minor injuries. Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis described the incident as "nearly killing" the officer and "miraculous" that he only suffered minor injuries. Dashcam footage of the incident was released on Tuesday, showing the officer's bravery in avoiding the speeding car.
