Henry Brooks, 46, of Hope, Maine tragically drowned while attempting to rescue his two daughters from Seven Tree Pond. His 27-year-old son followed him into the water with a life jacket, and was able to help the daughters back to a shallow area of the pond. The Maine Warden Service responded to the scene and recovered Brooks' body, and the two daughters were taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries. The Maine Warden Service is currently investigating the incident.
