Dorothy Hoffner, a 104-year-old Chicago resident, passed away on Monday morning. She had recently attempted to break the Guinness World Records for oldest person to skydive, accompanied by her son, daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters. Joe Conant, a nurse and Hoffner's close friend, described her as an inspiration and a role model to many. Hoffner's skydive was documented and sent to Guinness World Records for review.
