On April 15th, 2021, the 10th anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing was marked by a somber procession of families of those killed in the tragedy, joined by Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and Governor Maura Healey. The procession included 78-year-old runner Bill Iffrig, who was knocked to the ground by the first blast. The tragedy of the 2013 Boston Marathon was captured in a photograph, and the city of Boston continues to remember the tragedy and honor the victims.
