On Sunday night, tragedy struck the Krewe of Bacchus parade in New Orleans when five people were shot, one of whom was pronounced dead. Two weapons were found on scene and a suspect was apprehended by the New Orleans Police Department. The victims included a young girl, a woman, and three men, all of whom were transported to a hospital and are in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
