Hart, who is best known for her role in the television series “Sabrina The Teenage Witch,” said she and her husband, musician Mark Wilkerson, were on their way to conferences at their own children’s school nearby when they heard the news.
The actor said she and her husband jumped into action, helping a class of kindergartners across a busy highway and reuniting a mother with her children. Hart said the shooting occurred “right next to” the school her children attend.

“I don’t know what to say,” Hart said tearfully. “I’m just so thankful that my family is ok and my children weren’t at the school on Monday.”
