Tragic Loss of Professional Rally Driver and YouTube Star Ken Block in Snowmobile Accident

Ken Block, a professional rally driver and YouTube star, died Monday in a snowmobile accident in Utah, according to the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office. The accident occurred at 2 p.m. when Block was riding a snowmobile down a steep slope in Wasatch County. Block was riding with a group but was alone when the accident occurred, and the snowmobile upended and landed on top of him. He was later pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident.

The Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office released a statement expressing their sadness at the news of Block’s death. “We are saddened to hear of the loss of Kenneth and our hearts are with his family and friends so deeply affected,” the statement said.

Block’s Hoonigan Racing team also released a statement, saying, “He was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband. We are deeply saddened by his loss and ask that you please respect the family’s privacy at this time while they grieve.”

Block was a professional rally driver and YouTube star who had a successful career in the sport. He was well known for his skill and passion for the sport, and his death is a great loss to the racing community.
