He said that he felt a “warm sensation” on the left side of his face and when he looked to the left, he saw flames all over the windows. The plane started to shake and all the lights turned dark as everyone started screaming in Japanese.
The passengers and crew were able to escape the plane before it was fully engulfed in flames. Japanese Transport Minister Tetsuo Saito confirmed that all passengers and crew were able to evacuate the plane safely.
