“Friends” Cast Mourns the Sudden Death of Beloved Co-Star Matthew Perry at Age 54

The world is mourning the sudden death of beloved actor Matthew Perry, who passed away at the age of 54. Perry was best known for his iconic role as Chandler Bing on the long-running sitcom “Friends,” and his five co-stars have released a statement expressing their devastation at his passing.

“We are utterly devastated by the loss of our friend and colleague, Matthew Perry,” the statement read. “There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”

Perry’s death was confirmed by his representative and a law enforcement source to NBC News. He was found unresponsive in the jacuzzi at his home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles after police responded to a 911 call on Saturday. An autopsy was completed on Sunday, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, and toxicology results are pending.
