MSU Apologizes After Inappropriate Content is Displayed on Video Board Prior to Football Game

Michigan State University (MSU) has issued an apology after inappropriate content was displayed on the video board prior to the start of their football game against No. 2 Michigan on Saturday night.

MSU spokesman Matt Larson said the content was provided by an outside source and was not representative of the university’s values. The content included images of Adolf Hitler and his birthplace, Austria.

The images were broadcast on the video boards as part of a pregame quiz more than an hour before the game was set to begin. MSU has since apologized for the incident and is currently investigating the source of the content.

“We are deeply sorry for the content that was displayed, as this is not representative of our institutional values,” Larson said. “We are actively investigating the source of the content and will take appropriate action to ensure this does not happen again.”

MSU has not yet revealed the source of the content, but is taking steps to ensure that similar incidents do not occur in the future. The university is also working to ensure that all content displayed on the video boards is appropriate and in line with their values.
