Harry Styles Offers Elina Svitolina a Ticket to His Vienna Concert After She Wins Wimbledon Match

Wimbledon saw a heated match on Sunday evening as Ukrainian Elina Svitolina defeated Belarusian Victoria Azarenka in three sets. Despite the traditional post-match handshake, Svitolina refused to shake hands with any Russian or Belarusian players. This prompted the crowd to boo Azarenka as she walked off the court.

Appearing bemused, Azarenka shook her head and gestured to the crowd by tapping her wrists together. Svitolina, who is ranked 20th in the world and a two-time grand slam winner, advanced to the quarterfinals and will play against Iga Swiatek, who is ranked number one, on Tuesday.

Svitolina had to make some sacrifices to get to the quarterfinals, including giving up Harry Styles tickets. She was supposed to go see his concert in Vienna on Monday, but she won her match against Azarenka and will now miss the show.

Fortunately, someone wants to help her make it to a show: Styles himself. After she advanced in the tournament last week, Wimbledon posted a message from Svitolina on Instagram, saying, “Hey guys!! I was supposed to go see my fav Harry Styles concert in Vienna tomorrow… As the caption of the post reads, “You win some, you lose some.”

Styles responded to the post with a message of his own, saying, “Let me know if you need a ticket! I’d love to have you there.” Svitolina has yet to respond, but it looks like she may have a chance to make it to the show after all.
