President Biden Hosts White House Event to Celebrate Crackdown on “Junk” Fees and Ticketmaster and Live Nation’s Commitment to Provide Consumers with Full Pricing Upfront

The White House is hosting an event Thursday to celebrate the government’s effort to crack down on “junk” fees, and ticket sales giants Ticketmaster and Live Nation have pledged to provide consumers with full pricing upfront.

Live Nation is set to pledge that all tickets for its shows sold through Ticketmaster will show one “clear, total price” starting in September. The roundtable will also include representatives from SeatGeek, xBk, Airbnb, TickPick, DICE, the Newport Festivals Foundation and the Pablo Center at the Confluence.
