Residents of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, Khan Younis, and Rafah reported heavy bombing overnight and into Wednesday. Rami Abu Mosab, who is sheltering in the Bureij camp, said “We haven’t seen such bombing since the start of the war.”

The Palestinian Health Ministry said that the Israeli strike on the Nour Shams refugee camp was the cause of the six deaths. In response, the Israeli military said that it had achieved “direct hits” on a tent belonging to a special force of the Israeli army.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces traded fire with the Hezbollah militant group across the border with Lebanon today. Hezbollah said in a post on Telegram that it targeted a new Israeli command position.
