The Tucson Police Department released a statement Wednesday, saying the suspect has been linked to a dark blue, four-door car, possibly an early 2000s Toyota Camry or Corolla with a fading Arizona license plate.
The latest incident happened Sunday before 6 p.m., when officers with the University of Arizona Police Department received a call from a student who reported that a man approached her from behind, put his arm around her waist and assaulted her.
The abduction attempts happened on three different days and in three different off-campus locations. Campus police chief Chris Olson said there will be more patrols out in the community, along with officers at a distance keeping an eye out for the attacker.
