In response, some of Biden’s supporters in New Hampshire have started a “Write-In Joe Biden” campaign to demonstrate the depth of their support for the President. New Hampshire’s Republican and Democratic primaries are required by state law to be held at least seven days before any similar contest, and the Secretary of State has sole authority to set the date. President Biden chose the Statehouse’s Hall of Flags as the backdrop for his announcement, which displays more than 100 battle flags carried by New Hampshire soldiers in the Revolutionary War.
