The Pentagon has launched a new online tool to report government activity related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), commonly known as UFOs. The All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) unveiled the tool on Tuesday, which is part of their website launched in August 2020.
The new form is available to current or former government employees, contractors, and service members who have “firsthand knowledge of a U.S. Government program/activity related to UAP.” The AARO has warned that classified information should not be submitted through the form, and that reporting through the site would not be considered a violation of a non-disclosure agreement.
The AARO was established under the 2020 defense authorization act, and its website houses photos and videos of potential cases. The information submitted through the website will be used in a report on UAPs.
