Kenneth Chesebro, a former legal adviser to Donald Trump’s campaign, has pleaded guilty to one felony count of conspiracy to file false documents in the Fulton County, Georgia, district attorney’s office’s 2020 election interference case.
Chesebro appeared before Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee on Friday and entered his plea. He also agreed to testify in the case against any and all co-defendants.
Chesebro is the second defendant in the case to reach a plea deal in the past two days. He was charged alongside Donald Trump and more than a dozen other co-defendants with attempting to delay the transfer of power after the 2020 election.
