On Sunday morning, New York State Police issued an Amber Alert for a 9-year-old girl who was abducted Saturday night while camping with her family at Moreau Lake State Park in Saratoga County.

Governor Kathy Hochul expressed her shock and concern over the incident, calling it “every parent’s nightmare.”

Charlotte Sena was last seen at the park around 6:15 p.m. wearing an orange tie-dye Pokemon shirt, dark blue pants, black Crocs and a grey bike helmet. She is 4’6″ tall and 90 pounds, with blonde hair.

The Amber Alert was issued shortly after 9:30 a.m. local time, and the circumstances of the abduction lead police to believe that Charlotte is in imminent danger of serious harm.

A massive effort is underway to locate Charlotte, and anyone with any information should call the New York State Police at (518) 457-6811 or dial 911.
