Alicia Grant and Keanu Reeves: Building New Roads Together in a Relationship of Interdependence and Independence

Actress and singer, Alicia Grant, recently spoke to People magazine about her relationship with actor Keanu Reeves. Grant, 50, noted that the good news about falling in love as an adult is that she had already built her own career by the time the relationship began.

Grant praised Reeves, 59, for pushing her to build new roads and for bringing out the best in her. She noted that sometimes she gets frustrated creatively and could feel like a “Maserati stuck in traffic.” Grant also said that she feels confident in the relationship on the red carpet.

At the Los Angeles Beverly Arts Icon Awards last week, Grant told People that her partnership with the actor is “interdependent and independent in the best ways.” She noted that she and Reeves are both pushing each other to build new roads.
