Tragic Loss for Hockey Community: Former NHL Player Nicolas Kerdiles Dies in Motorcycle Accident in Nashville, Tennessee

Former NHL player Nicolas Kerdiles died on Saturday in a tragic motorcycle accident in Nashville, Tennessee. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Kerdiles was driving his motorcycle through a stop sign when it collided with the driver’s side of an SUV. The SUV’s driver immediately stopped and there were no signs of impairment in either driver.

Kerdiles was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in 2012 and spent two seasons with the team, appearing in three games combined in the 2016-17 and the 2017-18 seasons. He was also engaged to TV personality Savannah Chrisley.

Police do not anticipate any charges in the crash. The investigation is ongoing and no further details have been released at this time.
