Jeff Boals, Hunter’s former coach on the Ohio University men’s basketball team, was the first to share the news, taking to X, the social media platform formerly Twitter, on Tuesday night.
“Sad day for Bobcat Nation,” he posted. “Brandon was a great ambassador for Ohio, a great teammate, a great competitor, and a great family man. Brandon was a phenomenal player at Ohio who went on to have a great pro career.”
