24-Year-Old Man Found Unresponsive at Fulton County Jail, Passes Away Days Later

Atlanta, GA – On August 31st, a 24-year-old man, Shawndre Delmore, was found unresponsive at the Fulton County Jail. He was discovered during a routine check by a jail officer and was immediately attended to by jail staff. Delmore was then taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he passed away on Sunday, September 3rd.

Delmore had been arrested by Atlanta police on April 1st and was being held on a $2,500 bond for a second-degree burglary charge. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office has released a statement confirming the incident and expressing their condolences to Delmore’s family.
