The charges stem from a high-speed car crash that occurred in July 2022 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. According to reports, Shirilla intentionally drove her car into a brick building at 100 mph, killing her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, 20, and his friend Davion Flanagan, 19.
Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge Nancy Margaret Russo held the four-day bench trial last week after Shirilla waived her right to a jury trial. During the trial, prosecutors presented evidence that Shirilla had been using drugs prior to the crash and had been in possession of criminal tools.
