Lev Parnas Warns Republicans: No Evidence of Wrongdoing by Joe or Hunter Biden

Lev Parnas, a key figure in former President Donald Trump’s Ukraine scandal, has warned Republicans in the House Oversight Committee that they will never find any evidence of wrongdoing by Joe Biden or his son Hunter.

In a 10-page letter to House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.), obtained by HuffPost, Parnas outlined his own efforts to seek negative information about Biden and his son Hunter Biden from several Ukrainian sources in 2019. Parnas wrote that throughout all of his work, he had never found any evidence that either Biden had committed any crimes related to Ukrainian politics.

Parnas offered to testify under oath or provide any information the committee may need, but urged them to end their investigation into the Bidens. He said that the investigation was a waste of time and resources, and that the committee should focus on other matters.

The letter comes as the House Oversight Committee is preparing to hold a hearing on the Ukraine scandal. Parnas is expected to testify at the hearing, along with former White House official Fiona Hill and former National Security Council official Tim Morrison.

The hearing is expected to shed light on the Trump administration’s efforts to pressure Ukraine into investigating the Bidens. It is unclear whether Parnas’ letter will have any impact on the hearing or the committee’s investigation.
