Ticketmaster Pauses Taylor Swift Ticket Sales Events in France, Leaving Fans Disappointed

Taylor Swift fans in France were left disappointed on Tuesday morning when Ticketmaster abruptly paused sales events for the singer’s Eras Tour. The ticketing giant had scheduled 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. ticket sales events for concerts slated to take place at Paris La Défense Arena.

Ticketmaster acknowledged the issue on Twitter, saying that “Some of you might encounter problems with the website this morning – we are working on it and will keep you updated.” The website added that it will keep people “posted with a new on-sale time as soon as possible.”

At one point, there were more than 700,000 fans in the queue to purchase tickets. However, due to a technical glitch, many were unable to log into the website with their passwords. Ticketmaster said that codes that were not used would remain valid.

The news of the ticket sales being paused has left many fans of the singer in disarray. Swift is set to perform in Paris and Lyon next summer, and many fans had been eagerly awaiting the ticket sales.
