At least six people were injured, one critically, in a mass shooting in a parking lot outside a Houston club early Sunday morning.

Houston Police Department Chief Troy Finner said that officers responded to calls of shots fired at Tabú at about 2:10 a.m. He said that there had been a disturbance inside the club that spilled out into the crowded parking lot.

Five of the victims suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening, while one man underwent emergency surgery. The man is currently in critical condition.

Finner said that police did not yet know the nature of the disturbance that led to the shooting, or how many people might have been responsible. He added that no suspects were in custody.

Officers are currently reviewing surveillance camera footage in an effort to identify the suspects. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Houston Police Department.
