Yuma, Arizona – On Saturday night, a shooting in Yuma left two people dead and five others injured.
At 10:54 p.m., officers with the Yuma Police Department responded to a shooting in the 3800 block of S. J Edward Drive. Seven male victims were found with gunshot wounds.
The two deceased victims were 19 and 20 years old. A 16-year-old boy was flown from Yuma Regional Medical Center to Phoenix to receive treatment for life-threatening injuries. The other victims, a 15-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy, an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, all had nonlife-threatening injuries.
At this time, police have not identified any of the victims or released information on what led up to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
