A new report from the House Oversight Committee has revealed that some members of President Joe Biden’s family and associates have received more than $10 million from foreign entities. The 36-page interim GOP report, released by Oversight Committee chair James Comer, a Kentucky Republican, accused some Biden family members and associates of using a “complicated network” of more than 20 companies, mostly LLCs formed when Mr. Biden was vice president, and used “incremental payments over time” to “conceal large financial transactions.”

The report, which was based on thousands of records subpoenaed from four banks, found that some of the payments were made during and after President Joe Biden’s vice presidency. The documents reflect payments from foreign sources to Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden and the president’s brother James Biden, but not to Joe Biden himself.

Fox News host Steve Doocy commented on the report, saying that the Republicans had claimed the “smoking gun” were the financial records they had subpoenaed. Doocy noted that Comer described $10 million worth of transfers as evidence of “influence peddling” by the Bidens.

The report has raised questions about the Biden family’s financial dealings, and whether or not they have used their influence to benefit financially. The report has been met with criticism from both sides of the aisle, with some Democrats claiming that the report is politically motivated and lacks evidence of any wrongdoing.

The House Oversight Committee has said that they will continue to investigate the matter and that they will release a full report with their findings in the near future. In the meantime, the Biden family has denied any wrongdoing and has not commented further on the matter.
