Tragedy Strikes Serbia Again: 8 Killed and 13 Wounded in Mladenovac Shooting

On Thursday night, a 13-year-old shooter opened fire in the town of Mladenovac, located 30 miles south of Belgrade, Serbia. According to the state television report, the shooter used an automatic weapon to randomly shoot at people, killing at least eight and wounding 13.

The shooter, a 21-year-old male, fled the scene after the attack and is currently being sought by police. Serbian Interior Minister Bratislav Gasic has called the shooting “a terrorist act.” Special police and helicopter units have been sent to the region, as well as ambulances.

This is the second mass killing in Serbia in two days. On Wednesday in Belgrade, a 13-year-old shooter killed four people and wounded 21 others. The shooter was later identified as a student at the school where the attack took place.
