Met Gala to Honor Karl Lagerfeld Despite Controversy Surrounding His Career

This year’s Met Gala, the annual fashion extravaganza hosted by Vogue at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will be held on the first Monday of May and will honor the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. Lagerfeld, who was the long-time creative director of Chanel, passed away in 2019 at the age of 85.
