Over 200 officers have been searching for Oropesa, going door to door asking neighbors for any information that will lead to his arrest.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has also offered assistance in the search, and Capers said that the governor has offered to provide additional resources to help find Oropesa.
The FBI is asking anyone with information about Oropesa’s whereabouts to contact the FBI Houston Field Office at (713) 693-5000 or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
The press conference concluded with Capers and Smith urging anyone with information to come forward, and reminding the public that Oropesa is considered armed and dangerous.
