On April 19th, Alexa Bartell was driving in Jefferson County when a large landscaping rock was thrown through her windshield, killing her. The attack was part of a spree that began shortly after 10 pm that night near 100th Avenue and Simms Street in Westminster.

The suspects, all 18 years old and from Arvada, have been charged with first-degree murder and extreme indifference in the death of Alexa Bartell.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department released a statement on Wednesday confirming the arrests. They said that the suspects had been identified through a combination of surveillance footage, witness statements, and other evidence.
