The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department said in a press release that Cook, who was shot in the abdomen, was transported to a local hospital. The gunshot caused panic in the mall and when police arrived, they found Cook outside with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
Colie was charged with aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm within a building. Cook said he was playing a prank when a man shot him.
