Former Fox News producer Abby Grossberg has accused the right-wing network of pressuring her into giving misleading testimony in the Dominion defamation case. In her first television interview with NBC News, Grossberg said she was “bullied, intimidated and coerced” into protecting the network in order to keep her job.
Grossberg, who worked for hosts Maria Bartiromo and Tucker Carlson, said she was “bullied” by Fox lawyers into giving false answers in her deposition for the Dominion case. She also said she felt like she was being set up as “the fall guy” in the case.
“I mean it felt terrible because I knew that I was bullied, intimidated, and coerced into saying that just to keep my job and stay at the company,” Grossberg told NBC. “They’re a big corporate machine that destroys people.”
Grossberg said she felt compelled to protect the network in order to keep her job and pay her bills. She also said she heard Fox executives laughing about tearing apart politicians.
The full interview is set to air Thursday on “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt.” Grossberg was fired from Fox News earlier this month after she filed a lawsuit against the network.
