Three adults and three children were killed in a shooting at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday. Police have revealed that the shooter, who was also killed in the attack, legally purchased seven firearms from five stores in recent years and hid them from their parents.

The victims of the attack have been identified as Mike Hill, 61, Katherine Koonce, 60, and Cynthia Peak, 61, who all worked at The Covenant School. Hill, who worked as a custodian, was shot by the assailant through a glass door that the shooter used to enter the school. Three 9-year-old students were also killed, as well as the head of the grade school, a custodian, and a substitute teacher.

According to Metropolitan Nashville Police Chief John Drake, the shooter did not target specific victims. Police have released videos of the shooting, including edited surveillance footage that shows the assailant entering the school.

The Covenant School shooting is the latest in a string of school shootings that have occurred across the nation. Police are continuing to investigate the incident and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
