Abby Grossberg, who worked on Maria Bartiromo’s Sunday morning show on Fox Business Network and then on Tucker Carlson’s nightly primetime broadcast on Fox News Channel, filed the amended filings in the lawsuits submitted in federal court in New York and Delaware state court.
Grossberg is seeking to correct the Sept. 14 deposition she gave about the network’s coverage of Dominion Voting Systems, which she says was tainted by pressure from Fox lawyers. She also detailed allegations of discrimination, harassment and retaliation by Fox News against female employees, capped by her firing on March 24.
The former Tucker Carlson producer sued Fox News last week alleging she was pressured into giving misleading testimony about the network’s coverage of supposed election fraud. Grossberg is now seeking damages of more than $1.6 billion in the defamation lawsuit.
Fox News has yet to comment on the new allegations. Grossberg’s lawyers have said that the network’s behavior is “unacceptable and unlawful,” and that they are confident the court will agree.
