Former Fox News Producer Abby Grossberg Alleges Network Coerced Her Into Providing False Testimony in Defamation Case Against Dominion Voting Systems

Fox News is facing two lawsuits from a former producer, Abby Grossberg, who alleges that the network’s legal team coerced her into providing false testimony in the $1.6 billion defamation case against Dominion Voting Systems. Grossberg worked as a senior booking producer for Maria Bartiromo and most recently head of booking for Tucker Carlson.

Grossberg claims that Fox’s legal team engaged in wrongful conduct as they prepared her for a pre-trial deposition. She alleges that they pressured her to provide false testimony and misled her about the facts of the case.

The lawsuits come as former President Donald Trump continues to push conspiracy theories about the 2020 election. On Sunday, Trump posted on his bootleg Twitter app and House Republicans responded by entering his armageddon screed into the official record with a letter requesting that the Manhattan District Attorney turn over any communications his office might have had with the Department of Justice about the investigation.

Trump’s conspiracy theories have been embraced by many of his supporters, leading to a cycle of lather, rinse, repeat energy. Grossberg’s lawsuits against Fox News add to the ongoing controversy surrounding the 2020 election and the network’s role in it.
