On Thursday, court documents revealed a cache of items seized from the family home of Bryan Kohberger, the suspect in the fatal stabbings of four University of Idaho students last November.
The evidence log showed that investigators took items including knives, a cell phone, black gloves, black masks, laptops, dark-colored clothes and dark shoes, brown boots and New Balance shoes. According to the documents, criminology books, notebooks, a shop-vac, identifying documents, medical records, an AT&T bill and school-related paperwork were also seized.
The documents also showed that when Kohberger was arrested in Pennsylvania, investigators took “black face masks,” the weapon, three empty magazines for the Glock and a Smith & Wesson pocket knife.
The arrest of Kohberger came after a witness described the suspect as “a figure clad in black clothing and a mask that covered the person’s mouth and nose walking towards her,” according to the court documents.
The investigation into the fatal stabbings of the four University of Idaho students is ongoing. The items seized from Kohberger’s family home will be used as evidence in the case. No further information has been released at this time.
