Infowars host Alex Jones is reportedly holding firearms for two of his employees who were charged in connection with the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. This was revealed in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy statement filed Tuesday and first reported by The Washington Post on Thursday.

The statement included a section asking Jones to identify property he owns or controls, which mentioned “Holding firearms for certain January 6th participants to be provided.” According to the disclosures, Jones declared that he is “holding firearms” for some of the people who participated in the attack.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Jones said that both employees’ lawyers asked if they could store their guns at his residence while their cases were ongoing. “Due to the request of their lawyers we have … stored the guns here,” he said.

Jones did not participate in the insurrection, but he was in attendance at the rally that preceded it. He has since been banned from several social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.

The identities of the two employees have not been released, and it is unclear why their lawyers requested that Jones store their firearms. It is also unclear how long the guns have been in Jones’ possession.
