Key takeaways:

- Anyone with information about either hiker is asked to call the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department
Search and rescue personnel in California are searching for a second hiker on Mount Baldy, the same mountain where actor Julian Sands went missing on Jan. 13.
The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that they received a request Sunday to search for a 75-year-old Los Angeles man, Jin Chung, who failed to return from a hike and meet two others as planned.
Helicopters and drones with infrared devices were used to try to find Sands over the weekend, but high winds prevented aircraft from being used Monday. Ground crews on the Chung case also revisited some previously searched areas to look for Sands.
Chung carpooled to the mountain with two others and made plans to meet them at the vehicle at 2 p.m., but Chung did not return. He was last seen around 6 a.m. on Sunday.
Search and rescue personnel are asking anyone with information about either Sands or Chung to call the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department at (909) 890-4840.
