Drina River Crisis: Government Takes Action to Clean Up Massive Floating Waste Dump

Heavy rains and unseasonably warm weather have caused a massive floating waste dump to form in the Drina River in eastern Bosnia. The trash barrier installed by a Bosnian hydroelectric plant, a few kilometers upstream from its dam near Visegrad, has turned the city into an unwilling regional waste site.
