According to a search warrant unsealed on Wednesday, police gathered a significant amount of blood from the victims, including spatter and castoff, as well as a reddish-brown stained pillowcase, hair strands, and one nitrite-type black glove from Kohberger’s apartment.
The search warrant also revealed that a dog belonging to one of the victims, 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves, and her ex-boyfriend was found in the Moscow residence when police initially responded to the scene. Police were hoping to find dog hair during the search of Kohberger’s apartment.
