Four Tennis Legends Face Off in Inaugural Pickleball Slam for $1 Million Prize

Four of the greatest tennis players of all time are set to face off in an exciting new competition. Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Andy Roddick, and Michael Chang, who have won a combined total of 23 Grand Slam titles, will be competing in the Inaugural Pickleball Slam on April 2 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

The competition is part of a multi-year, five-event partnership between the event’s organizers, Horizon Sports and Experiences, and the Hard Rock. Pickleball is a sport that is gaining popularity in the United States, with more than 4.8 million active players.

Agassi, who retired from tennis in 2006, is an eight-time Grand Slam singles winner. McEnroe, a seven-time Grand Slam singles winner, is now a well-known commentator and pundit. Roddick is the last American man to win a Grand Slam, achieving that feat in 2003, while Chang is the youngest male player to win a Grand Slam title.

The four tennis legends will be swapping their rackets for paddles in the competition, which will be broadcast live on the Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The winner of the competition will receive a $1 million prize.
