Lisa Marie Presley Hospitalized After Suffering Cardiac Arrest, Priscilla Presley Asks for Prayers and Privacy

Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, has been hospitalized after experiencing cardiac arrest, a source confirmed to CBS News. A department spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter that a woman in her 50s in Calabasas, California, had gone into cardiac arrest and been taken to a local hospital. The woman had a pulse when she was taken to the hospital, the spokesperson said.

According to TMZ, Presley suffered a cardiac arrest in her home. Presley, 54, is a singer and the only child of the late Elvis Presley and his ex-wife, Priscilla Presley. Priscilla Presley wrote on Facebook, “My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital. We feel the prayers from around the world, and ask for privacy during this time. She is now receiving the best care. Please keep her and our family in your prayers.”

Like her late father, Lisa Marie Presley is a singer and songwriter. She released her debut album, To Whom It May Concern, in 2003, and has since released four more albums. She has also appeared in several films and television shows.
