Police in Cohasset, Massachusetts are investigating the disappearance of Ana Walshe, a 39-year-old mother of three. Her husband, Brian Walshe, 47, has been charged with impeding the investigation into his wife’s disappearance.
According to an affidavit, Brian Walshe’s statements about his activities and whereabouts at the time of his wife’s disappearance were “untruthful”. Additionally, police found blood and a damaged, blood-stained knife in the couple’s basement.
Prosecutors revealed that Brian Walshe allegedly purchased $450 of goods, including cleaning supplies, mops, and tape from a nearby Home Depot on January 2. He is already awaiting sentencing for a separate case.
The investigation into Ana Walshe’s disappearance is ongoing. Police have not yet located her and Brian Walshe’s internet records showed searches for how to dismember a body.
The Cohasset Police Department is asking anyone with information about the case to contact them. They are also asking anyone who may have seen Brian Walshe in the area of the Home Depot on January 2 to contact them.
